Dr. Michael Knable, DO, DFAPA
Dr. Michael Knable is the Medical Director of ClearView Communities, LLC. After receiving undergraduate and medical degrees at Ohio University, he trained in Psychiatry at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital and in Neurology at George Washington University Hospital and is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Dr. Knable was a Clinical Associate at the National Institute of Mental Health from 1992–1998 where his research focused on severe mental illnesses. He was the Medical Director or Executive Director of The Stanley Medical Research Institute from 1998-2008. Dr. Knable is the author of more than 80 publications on various aspects of neuropsychiatric diseases including “Surviving Manic Depression: A Manual on Bipolar Disorder for Parents, Families, and Providers.”
Dr. Knable is also Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at George Washington University, Adjunct Professor of Psychiatry at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Treatment Advocacy Center (www.treatmentadvocacycenter.org), and a psychiatrist member of the District of Columbia Commission on Mental Health.

Caroline D. Cantrell, LCSW-C
Prior the joining ClearView Communities, Caroline spent eleven years as the Director of Assessment for the Carolina Center for Behavioral Health, a 112-bed private psychiatric health facility in Greer, South Carolina. She was very involved with the mental health efforts in South Carolina, and now continues her involvement in Maryland. Caroline accepted the position as Clinical Director for ClearView Communities in 2012 and was promoted to Executive Director in March 2019.

Aaron Vander Meer, LCSW-C
Aaron has worked both nationally and internationally, designing and implementing person-centered programs. He has a background in non-profit leadership, program development, and community partnership building.
Aaron is also on the Board of Directors for the Maryland Coalition of Families, the Board of Directors for Centro Hispano de Frederick, and a member of Hood College’s Social Work Advisory Committee.

Jennifer is responsible for managing all physical plant operations and Human Resource functions of the organization. She plays an important role in setting up new offices and group homes.

Dr. Brown has extensive experience in treating severe mental illnesses including Schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders. He is also the director of the Maryland Anxiety and Depression Treatment Center.

Katie Lentz, LCSW-C
Katie has experience in multiple treatment settings to include outpatient therapy, inpatient hospital care, as well as residential facilities for both mental health and substance use disorders. Prior to coming to ClearView, she spent 5 years as a social worker on the inpatient Behavioral Health Unit at Frederick Health Hospital and developed a passion for working with individuals with severe mental illness. In this role, she often partnered with ClearView for coordination of care before finally joining the team. In her role as Admissions Manager, she uses her knowledge of resources to help people find appropriate care for themselves or a loved one.

Olga Marable, MA
Olga Marable holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication with a focus in Advertising and Public relations from Towson University and a Master of Arts in Management with a focus in Marketing.
Prior to joining ClearView Communities, Olga spent 5 years as the Director of Admissions and Outreach at Fusion Academy Rockville, a non-traditional private middle & high school supporting many students with mental health needs and those who are neurodivergent. Prior to that, she worked in the hospitality digital marketing industry for 7 years; watching as the world of technology evolved and grew tremendously. Olga accepted the position as Business Development Manager for ClearView Communities in 2024.

Christopher Hanes, MSN, PMHNP-BC
Christopher Hanes, MSN, PMHNP-BC is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Shortly after earning his Bachelor of Science in nursing, Christopher began working as a medical-surgical registered nurse at Meritus Hospital. While working there he gained valuable experience that provided a solid foundation for behavioral health nursing. Christopher spent the next nine years working with adults with chronic mental illnesses. These combined experiences furthered his desire to progress his career and knowledge at Wilkes University where he earned his Master of Science.

Laura First, LCSW-C
Laura First, MSW, LCSW-C is an experienced psychotherapist with over 25 years of experience in group, individual, and family therapy. She comes to ClearView Communities most recently from Sagebrush in Virginia, bringing years of knowledge in addiction/substance use treatment as well as supporting clients through trauma and loss. She worked with The Jefferson School, part of the Sheppard Pratt Health System for almost 20 years in individual, family, and group therapy as well as coordinating the expressive therapies program for the school. Laura who is extensively trained in DBT, CBT, and EMDR is also experienced in specialized modalities such as Playback Psychodrama, Meditation, Music Therapy, and Visual art as therapy.
Laura’s philosophy is to encourage clients to try something new, awaken their inner light and open the door to a story that’s waiting to be told; believing it is the sheer integration of the mind, body, and spirit that are on the cutting edge of healing and insight work. Laura grew up in the colorful tropics of Hawaii and now resides on a working farm in rural Maryland with her therapy dog, Collie.

Melissa Fisher, LGPC
Melissa Fisher, M.S., earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in Community Mental Health Counseling from McDaniel College in Westminster, MD.
Melissa has had 9 years of experience in the mental health field working as a Partial Rehabilitation Program facilitator at Way Station, Inc., a Senior Family Service Worker for Interagency Family Preservation Services, a Children’s Mobile Crisis worker for Frederick County, and a former Recovery Coach for ClearView Communities.
In her current position as Family Clinician and Individual Therapist, Melissa integrates her knowledge and experience of intensive family work with her passion for helping individuals build on their strengths and accessing their full potential through healthy communication, practical coping skills, and problem-solving strategies.

Victoria Kiphart, LCSW-C
Victoria Kiphart, LCSW-C originally joined the ClearView Communities team in August of 2017, as a live-in recovery coach. Within the year, Victoria was quickly promoted to the roles of Senior House Manager and Education and Volunteering Coordinator. She earned her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Denver in 2020 while balancing her roles at ClearView and competitive internship placements. Since becoming licensed, Victoria worked as a psychiatric social worker at Sibley Memorial Hospital in their emergency department and behavioral health unit then Springfield Hospital on an admissions unit. Victoria returned to ClearView as an individual and group therapist in July of 2021. Victoria is so excited to rejoin ClearView in a clinical capacity to further support the residents on their roads to recovery.

Amber Kuehnel, COTA/L
Amber Kuehnel, COTA/L joined ClearView communities in February 2024. She graduated in
2001 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelors of Arts degree in
Exercise and Sport Science prior to completing an Associate’s degree to become a Certified
Occupational Therapy Assistant. She has experience working in a variety of settings including
clinic, early intervention, school based, and home health, but her work with helping to develop
and grow an Occupational Therapy program in the BHU setting at Frederick Health Hospital led
to her discovering a love of working in mental health OT. She looks forward to the wide array of
treatment opportunities available in a community based mental health OT setting.

Megan McNeece, OTR/L, ADHD-RSP
Megan comes to ClearView with 19+ years of experience as an OT. She has worked in various settings, beginning her career at the University of Maryland Medical Center, Shock Trauma Center. There, Megan specialized in the evaluation and treatment of spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury patients.
Megan came to ClearView from Frederick Health Hospital, where she developed and implemented the BHU OT program. This program has played a substantial role in her growing passion for OT in the mental health field. Megan holds a personalized, client-centered approach to her treatments, seeing Occupational Therapy as “skills for the job of living” and creating meaning and value in functional living.

While in nursing school, Katie worked as a substitute teacher at the Sheppard Pratt School in Rockville, where she developed a love for helping individuals struggling with their behavioral and mental health. After obtaining her nursing licensure, Katie transitioned to a nursing role within Sheppard Pratt, where she worked until she accepted a position at ClearView Communities.
Katie is dedicated to helping others to invest in their physical and mental health. She is focused on supporting residents in developing sustainable, healthy habits that can be taken with them when they leave ClearView.

Antoinette Vasseur, CNIP, THP, CPD
Antoinette Vasseur is the Therapeutic Nature Program Coordinator at ClearView Communities, bringing a deep-rooted passion for ecological therapeutic gardening and a unique blend of expertise to the field. As a Certified Nature Informed Practitioner through the Center for Nature Informed Therapies and a Certified Therapeutic Horticulture Practitioner from UNC Chapel Hill, Antoinette skillfully blends environmental sustainability with therapeutic practices.
In her role, Antoinette oversees all aspects of the Therapeutic Nature Program, including the Garden Group, Individual Nature Sessions, and program community partnerships. She directs activities in the greenhouse, on-campus sensory and vegetable gardens, and coordinates the Plants with Purpose initiative. Her work encompasses designing therapeutic gardens, facilitating group nature-based mindfulness activities, and individual therapeutic nature based sessions.
Antoinette holds an Advanced Permaculture Design Certification from Oregon State University and is an active member of the American Horticulture Therapy Association and the Permaculture Institute of North America. Her multifaceted approach makes a meaningful difference in the lives of residents and the broader community, showcasing the powerful intersection of nature and mental health treatment.

Michael Erbe graduated from Hood College with a Bachelor of Art in Psychology and a minor in Sociology in May 2015. Michael moved to Frederick in October 2016 and began working at ClearView Communities as a Recovery Coach. Michael became a Senior House Manager in August 2017. In addition to being a Senior House Manager, Michael oversaw in-house staffing at ClearView. Mike was promoted to Wellness Program Coordinator in February 2025. He completed all the requirements for the Personal Training Certification in April 2025.

Cameron Loadwick graduated from DePaul University with a Bachelors of Science in 2020. He then began working at Hargrove Hospital as a Mental Health Specialist before moving to Maryland and joining ClearView as a Recovery Coach in the fall of 2021. Cameron became the Senior House Manager at one of the off-campus houses in February of 2025.

Brianna Eskew, BA
Brianna Eskew graduated from Shepherd University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in
Psychology and a Minor in Crime and Society in May of 2024. During her last year of college,
Brianna interned at a law firm then joined Clearview Communities as a Recovery Coach in July
of 2023. While working at the law firm and Clearview, Brianna developed a passion to help
individuals who struggle with mental health and integrating into society. In July of 2024, Brianna
joined the Community Integration team and now works as an Employment Specialist.

Jessica Sarpong
Jessica Sarpong completed her studies in Public Relations at the University of Virginia in 2012.
After four years in the Communications field, Jessica transitioned into case management as an
Employment Development Specialist for ResCare Workforce Services in Gaithersburg, MD.
Eager to explore Human Resources, she subsequently worked as a Recruiter for CSAAC in 2019
and as an HR Coordinator for Cielo Inc in 2023. These diverse experiences have equipped
Jessica with a deep understanding of workforce dynamics and a passion for advocating for
individuals navigating their career paths as she did.
In January 2024, Jessica brought her passions to Clearview Communities as an Employment
Specialist.
