Melissa Fisher, LCPC., is a licensed mental health therapist with experience in community-based and residential mental health treatment for adolescents, adults, and families. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Community Mental Health Counseling from McDaniel College in Westminster, Maryland. Her clinical background includes working extensively with psychotic disorders, crisis intervention, family systems work, psychiatric rehabilitation, autism spectrum disorders, and recovery-oriented behavioral health services.

Melissa brings over a decade of experience in the mental health field, including direct care work as a Partial Rehabilitation Program Facilitator at Way Station, Inc., a Senior Family Service Worker with Interagency Family Preservation Services, and a Children’s Mobile Crisis worker for Frederick County. In these roles, she supported individuals and families navigating acute behavioral and mental health needs, psychiatric instability, and complex social-emotional challenges within community and crisis settings. Melissa has additional experience working with children on the autism spectrum at the Amazing Kids Club in Hanover, PA.

Prior to her current role as licensed therapist, Melissa served as a Recovery Coach at ClearView Communities, working with clients directly in the homes. She developed a strong foundation in residential treatment, community integration, and person-centered rehabilitation from serious mental illnesses. Her clinical approach emphasizes compassion, collaboration, skill-building, and intensive support for long-term stabilization and independence within a structured therapeutic environment.
