Katie Stewart, BSN, RN, is a Nurse at ClearView Communities. She provides nursing care, health monitoring, medication support, and wellness education for residents experiencing serious mental illness and co-occurring behavioral health conditions within a structured residential treatment setting.
Katie joined ClearView Communities in 2022, bringing a strong background in both physical health and behavioral health care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2016 and completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Towson University in 2018. Her interdisciplinary training supports a holistic approach to psychiatric nursing, physical wellness, and recovery-oriented care.
Prior to joining ClearView Communities, Katie worked within the Sheppard Pratt system, where she began as a substitute teacher at the Sheppard Pratt School in Rockville during nursing school, supporting individuals with mental health and behavioral challenges. After becoming a licensed registered nurse, she transitioned into a clinical nursing role at Sheppard Pratt, where she gained experience in psychiatric care before joining ClearView Communities. She is committed to helping residents build sustainable physical and mental health habits that support long-term recovery, independence, and wellness beyond residential treatment.
