Antoinette Vasseur is the Therapeutic Nature Program Manager at ClearView Communities. She specializes in therapeutic horticulture, nature-based mental health treatment, and ecotherapy programming designed to support emotional regulation, stress reduction, and recovery for individuals experiencing serious mental illness and co-occurring psychiatric conditions.
In her role, Antoinette oversees the Therapeutic Nature Program, including structured garden therapy groups, individual nature-based sessions, and community partnerships that support experiential, outdoor-based mental health treatment. She leads daily programming within the greenhouse, sensory gardens, and vegetable gardens, and directs the “Plants with Purpose” initiative, which integrates environmental sustainability with therapeutic recovery practices.
Her work focuses on designing therapeutic landscapes and facilitating mindfulness-based, nature-centered interventions that enhance grounding, resilience, and emotional wellness. Through individualized and group-based horticultural therapy experiences, she helps residents develop coping skills, improve mood stability, and engage in meaningful, recovery-oriented activities within a community-integrated residential treatment environment.
