Clinical Director
Lindsey Peterson, J.D., Ph.D. joined ClearView Communities in March 2021, and promoted to Clinical Director in February 2025. After completing her graduate training in the joint law and psychology doctoral program at Drexel University, she became licensed as a psychologist in Maryland in 2016. Dr. Peterson completed her internship and postdoctoral training at Springfield Hospital Center, a state psychiatric hospital in Maryland. She later served as a Staff Psychologist and as the Director of Internship Training for the APA-accredited Doctoral Psychology Internship Program at the hospital. Dr. Peterson also served as an evaluator and expert witness, conducting forensic mental health assessments for juvenile and criminal courts in Maryland.
Dr. Peterson has experience providing individual therapy, group therapy, and comprehensive psychological assessments for various populations with a particular focus on working with individuals diagnosed with serious and persistent mental illness, personality disorders, substance use disorders, and trauma histories. She primarily draws from cognitive-behavioral and humanistic orientations to address client concerns and promote growth and resiliency. Her interests are in the treatment of serious and persistent mental illness, the intersection of psychology and law, and supervision and training in psychology.
Our mission is to create a superior therapeutic residential experience for persons with serious mental illness and co-occurring disorders. We offer a unique and comprehensive program for adults who are seeking recovery and independent living in the community.
